Hi all
newbie here so be kind!
I bought a 09 tenere yesterday and while riding it home it cut out 3 times in about 10 minutes, a bit scary as i was in the outer lane of the motorway.
Reading up about the regulator issues, im not convinced that this is my problem as later on the ride i went through some very heavy rain and the bike ran fine thankfully
Any pointers??

Start with spark plug, and set idle rpm on 1500. After that you can check your coil cable, and if there is spark.

Did any warning lights flash up on the dashboard?

It seams that 660z didn't get a response fast enough..... and asked to be removed.

Didn't bother introducing himself either, that is usually polite in any forum.

Oh well, some people have no patience. I've got no time for people like that.
