Newbie from Finland says hello.
 

Hello. I am Tero , a 34 year old guy from city called Kouvola in eastern Finland.

I bought an Xt660r just last weekend. My previous offroad experience is close to zero. Last time i owned an offroad bike was when i was 16 and i had honda CR. For the past ten years been driving with roadbikes, mostly suzuki`s. This is my first yamaha.

I changed from supersport road bikes to 150 horsepower less dualsportbike to be able leave the tarmac roads and head for roads less travelled. I havent ridden the bike much yet apart from a short test drive (road and offroad). The bike is pretty much a stock bike, it was the previous owners first bike. I have planned to make quite a lot modification to make it suite more to my liking. The feeling i got from test drive was quite nice. The fuel injection system has clearly some issues that i plan to get sorted out in the near future. I was finding myself in this forum quite a lot before bought it, because always when looking some info about the bike, google found topics from XT660.com.

Because of that i wanted to register to the forum.

So this was a newbie introduction. My Next post`s will be question`s about bike and modifications. :icon_bounce:
