North Wales meet
 

Hi all, as some of you already know last year I organised a meet at Llanfairfechan which was well attended. This year I have organised the Thumper Club rally at the same spot, similar format and rideout.
The Thumper lads are basically single cylinder m/c enthusiasts and there will be some unusual bikes there. One of our Irish contingent intends to get some of his Enfield club mates over.
If anyone from this site would like to attend then you are more than welcome and this may be an opportunity for some of the guys that could not attend the Anniversary rally to meet up with others.
If you wish to attend I do need numbers to ensure that we have enough space allocated.

The dates are from 7th to 10th July.

Camping, hook ups and bunkhouse possibly.

I am away for the next week or so In Kielder forest so will be off grid (so to speak) but will check this thread when I get back home.

Steve, I won't be able to do the whole weekend now. It turns out that's the first weekend off the missus will have in over a month. I'm still definitely up for a ride out on the Saturday. I just won't be camping (given my previous history, that's probably for the best!)

I'm only just down the road in 'Pesda, but probably won't have the XT on the road by then. I'm working Thursday in Bangor, and then Saturday & Sunday on BikeSafe. I'll try to get over Friday ...

I can't camp - I'll try and get over to say hello one evening. My missus is only recently home after major surgery so I'm on bedpan and breakfast duties ....

Just a quick bump to say that this meet is still on and any XT'rs are more than welcome to come over and have a beer with us................and try to keep up with me on the now notorious 'round Snowdon rideout!:nana:

I have been in touch with the PUB and arranged to get the conservatory at the back for us. I have also arranged for food aftyer the rideout on the Saturday evening, this will comprise a Chicken curry, a Veggie curry both with the associated popadams and chips. Also a Beef stew again with crusty bread.
These will be @ �8.

I would like some sort of idea of numbers to ensure that we will not be waiting around so if you are coming can you reply in this post of your preference.

Ok Guys I now have better details if the Saturday nights fare. These are as follows:-

Chicken or Veggie curry with chips / rice / popadoms �9
Stew with crusty bread.�6


I am going to suggest 7:00pm in the pub for food.
