Thank you all
The party at the Dean's Diner in Chatham was a success.
I believe everyone fully enjoyed the day and it was great for me to meet you all, such a decent bunch of people, my only regret was not to be able to join you on the ride back on an XT but driving back in my car. I am working through the pics right now so they will be up shortly, I have to say Stephanie, Jessica and Jasmine have all 3 been fantastic, they really helped with the bike washing, cutting the cake and then finally calling out the raffle numbers. Also a big thanks goes to Pete (Pleiades) for organizing the campsite first and foremost, and for sorting out the raffle. I can announce now that the lucky man who won the set of MTC 2 into 1 Stainless Steel Round exhausts is..... Stephen Eldrige of Bognor Regis. Well done that man!! Thank you all for coming and thank you for supporting xt660.com :team[1]: :team[1]: :team[1]: |
Let's see if this works
Here's a slide show of the pics taken today. http://s144.photobucket.com/user/xt6...ersary%20Party |
Thanks to all those who organised the meet, I had a great time, really enjoyed meeting you all and it was great to see a nice collection of bikes.
Thanks for the photos Fran! Looking forward to the next meet! Kind regards, Big Dazza |

Chatham magic
Thank you for such a wonderful get together. Lovely to see old friends and meet new ones. As always, time too short to get to chat to everyone. And a very nice campsite fire.

Thank you Capt'n, and Pete and all the others for this great event and for the warm welcome. I enjoyed my short trip to England very much.
I will try to join next year again, maybe with a bit more time See you Werner |
Nice to meet you all at the campsite on Saturday night and hope you all had a great journey home.... you never know, I may have a tent next year !

Thanks to capt and Pete for organising another great xt meet , even though I could'nt read my paper in the long drop bog (not long enough if you ask me). Great to see all the old (Steve) and new faces , hope everybody had a good trip home. Thanks again Mark
Ps Kev let me know if you fancy a trip abroad or we could always have a mini meet somewhere? :newspaper: |

Managed to get some pics off the phone............THE OVERNIGHT STALWARTS (less me of course 'cos I took the picture) |
Well done everyone, and I mean
everyone for making it another fantastic XT660.com weekend. Great campsite, great company, great teamwork (just check out the tarptastic shanty town we made in about ten minutes) and of course great bikes... Oh, and we mustn't forget <drum roll> for the first time ever, great weather!
There is just one little thing that's been bugging me though... I didn't see a single XT660X all weekend? :smilies0943: |
Actually what did irritate me a bit is that the Cap'n put a lot of effort into his side of the weekend, Pete organised the site and the meet has been advertised for nearly a year.
Sooooooooooooooooo why didn't we have more attendance? At last years' Wales meet we had 25 Tens plus R's and X's, the weather was lousy and a lot further for most to travel! It doesn't compute!:angry2: I do think that we should use this site again tho':icon_sunny: Billy no-mates Thursday evening. http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps9arrljty.jpg Wind protection http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...pss6ovaesp.jpg Rain / Drizzle protection http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...psxaqhm0nj.jpg Syphoning training for Arn! http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...psydulzrna.jpg The mottley crew http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...psfmqmbxhn.jpg Late night frivolity http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...psjoe3qvqx.jpg A nest of Teneres http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...pscttoywtx.jpg See ya can't even see mine 'cos it's sooooo camouflaged:rockwoot: Beer o time!:team[1]: http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...psebr84ivi.jpg |
Nice one. Thanks for the pics.

that campsite looks great and ideal, love the shanty town tarps. gutted couldn't be there, unfortunately I only got the XT earlier in year and had already had helicopter flight arranged with my lad. Shame it wasn't bigger turn out after all the effort, wonder what put people off. Sure those that did go have no regrets.

Great weekend all round guys! Its always nice to see everyone. I was glad to get home and have a decent nights sleep though.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...499d5de098.jpg SteveD, proof you were there. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...9dca1bf4a2.jpg Also, I'd like to point out that it was my bike that I was siphoning fuel out of. |
Nice one Arnold!

Looks like a cracker camp site and also some of that golden ball action in the sky.
Sorry I couldn't make it I had my brothers stay do the weekend before at the North West 200 so was a little cash strapped and also my brothers new father in law test rode the ten and evened up the scratches from my off roading left hand side spill with a right hand side road spill!! Crash bars done their job and it was slow speed, he came off worse as we found out 4 days later he broke his ankle!!! So watch this space next year I'll be having ya's |
What about coming to the Thumper Club meet in July at Llanfairfechan? MAX?
|
Steve that's sounds good but ill be even more skint as I'm away for a week to Canada for my brothers wedding that month!!!
Already planning trips in Aug to North Wales for a weekend and then abroad for a week in Sept!! |
Sorry for the delay, now I have some time to post my pics too.
