May Day bike meet in Hastings
 

Anyone heading to Hastings on Monday. ...huge friendly bike event. 40, 000 bikes last year! And a lot of weird and wonderful people! Steve

Yeah, I'm going, was there last year too, great event wouldn't miss it!!

Sadly no for me. I've always have a bit of soft spot for Hastings as it was my destination, just turned 17, from the Medway towns on a proper big bike (DT 125 LC !). I also returned there for a VW run after restoring a Beetle.
It will be a great atmosphere. ( very jealous ). :cry[1]:

I'll be there as it's my home town. My bike is still in the states though so I'll be on foot. Try and get yourselves to the old 'Observer Building' for the Revolution show over the weekend. Looks like they have lots of good stuff going on there.

Would like to go to this one year (it is nearly my hometown -Battle is where I grew up). I hear that the old pier has been re-built so should be plenty of stuff going on.
Can't make it on account of the Taffy Dakar his year.
