Hello from "sunny" Sweden

Hej hej!

So who is this dude?
I am Rob, 32 years of age, and not even 1 year old in Riding-bikes-years, eg got my license less than a year ago.
Wy the late bloomer i hear you ask?! Well, the fun times of speed and me has been more car suitable until now, now i feel i have more control of the impulses and i trust myself on 2 wheels rather than an armored 4wheeler!

I started last year by getting a 2008 Kawasaki ER-6N, and what a bad buy that was, way to small bike for my manly viking features of 192cm tall and 110kg wide.
Last month i went out for a random cold early-spring ride, and ended up returning home on my current 2012 xt660r, such a nice bike to ride and drive!

So the plans?
Well, i have plenty of those:D
Which ones i choose to follow through is another question that time will answer.

I would like to discover atleast Sweden on it during random trips with a tent strapped on my back, or maybe Europe, or maybe even the world! who knows.

All i know now is that i like riding it on the streets and will further my skill as a rider by beginning slowly taking it off-road, and trying them wheelies(that`s how you get ladies, free beer and thumbs up?!)

So hope for several nice conversations with people on this forum and a nice platform for modding and evolving the bike after my need what ever they might turn out to be...

Any starting mods and tips are welcome!

With regards
Rob

hi from UK, good luck with the wheelies hope you get the results from them, must be different rules in Sweden as I've never had those results.
I had the pleasure of a flying visit to Gothenburg a number of years back and thought it was a really nice place.
Enjoy the XT.
