Just a reminder...

Hi Guys, was tinkering around the with bike yesterday eyeing a route for an auxiliary loom and found my cam cover bolt missing. Not sure how long it has been like it. I've had the bike just over a month and out a few hundred miles on it and I don't know how long it's been like it. Luckily I had a bolt to spare for time being.

Just a reminder to have a quick scan over the bike before a ride or when doing work on it (I've been too excited to ride it and may of lapsed on the pre ride checks :eusa_wall: )

Cheers everyone

Thanks Simo, cleaning your bike is also good practice for finding loose or missing bits as a police bike instructor taught me. This is how I discovered that the drain tube had come dislodged from the bottom of the airbox so could suck unfiltered air in. Pipe was still there in the frame fortunately.

Mine loosened off once too upon my return from Maroc......when I took the cover off there was a small amount of desert dust staining the inside the cover..luckily the damp oil on the inside had caught it and it didn't get any further.
