Hi Darkhelmet,
It was a BMW X Challenge. And when I say "work on" I'm talking more about general day to day maintenance items than bigger jobs. A few examples:
BMW: Topping up coolant - remove side cover
Adjust gear lever - remove foot peg
Check battery - remove seat
check oil level - remove seat
adjust rebound on front shock - remove handlebars
no adjustment on brake pedal
no adjustment on front brake lever, when it wears out, replace.

I have no close up of the Polisport fender but will snap one and send to you. It's quite short but is made of a very high quality, durable feeling plastic and the fit is 100%. I managed to keep the tow eye by turning it around on the mounting.
