Yamaha XT660R connection issue
 

Hi guys and girls,-

I have Yamaha XT660R 2005 model with some issues.

All of the turn signal lights are out, dosen�t work (back and front). The bulbs are OK and work.
I have the same issue with the tail light. It does not show any light when the engine is running. If I step on the footbrake, the break lights pop up but if I use the front brake, it goes on for a split second and then drops out even if I�m still holding the front brake ???

Hazard light switch does not work either.
Front light works 100% with low and high beam on.
Fuse are all 100% and I can�t see any cable/wire damaged.

Anybody familar to this ?
Any suggestions ?

I had a similar problem when I first got the bike. I eventually traced it to poor connections under the tail section, around the small rear storage area. I cleaned and tightened all the connections plus I added some silicone contact sealer/lube. Apparently the bike�s computermibob detects a faulty bulb then ties itself in Knots.
