cosmetic changes

http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/...psoycelq0r.jpg Bought a couple of aerosols of colour matched paint from RS bike paints. Didn't realise what a palaver it would be to simply colour match a couple of plastic panels!. Rub down, plastic primer, blue Base coat, metallic coat, many coats of lacquer. ....

Looking smart Steve!..nice spray work..look forward to seeing it in person..

Well worth the effort Steve. Hope your arms aren't aching to much though coz without indicators you'll have to do hand signals.

Looks good Steve. Are you going to do the other textured plastic panels as well? I always think the coloured bikes (the ones other than black!) look good with the grey panels under the rear grab handles colour-coded to balance things out front/rear (especially as all the other textured panels are black on the newer bikes). All the colour on the Ten is at the front otherwise.

Thanks....I agree Pete, painting under the grab rail would give a balance to the look. Haven't decided about the big crash panel on the tank as that is the one that takes a hit when you have a 'Tenere topple '... I also wondered about the front mudguard...? And Desert Racer, I wondered what was missing......! Steve
