We have a camp site!
 

I have organised a place to camp on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May for those attending the 10th Anniversary Party.

The site is on the Kent Downs and about 10 miles on the back lanes from the site to Gravesend and Dean�s Diner. It's a fairly wild and natural campsite set in woodland with composting loos and no drinking water - you have to bring/get your own, although you can get bottled water on site. However, it's very relaxed, with a friendly owner and campfires are allowed.

I reserved a block of pitches for XT660.com which were offered first to those that had already signed up here and expressed an interest in camping. There are three remaining (pending a few members getting back to me, so there might end up being more?) If you are thinking of camping and want to take up one of the reserved group pitches (or want to know more) then contact me by PM with the following details:

I'd like to try and fill up all the reserved pitches first. Once we've filled our them, then I'll post the details of the campsite in this thread and anyone else that fancies it is free to book directly. There will almost certainly be further space available on the campsite; the only thing is, those booking later, or directly, won�t necessarily be guaranteed a pitch with the rest of the group.

Booked my spot. Can't wait. Will we be doing any green lanes? Haven't done any since I moved here.

I've just booked my spot. I added a bag of firewood to my booking and have told the guys at the site to just give it to the first XT660.com member to turn up.

Although the reserved pitches have been taken by those who expressed an interest in camping at the outset, there are still pitches available at the campsite should anyone else wish to camp on the Friday/Saturday nights.

If there are any members attending the anniversary meet who want to camp (and haven't booked already) they should send me a PM and I will provide the site details and booking instructions.

I not sure whether I can do Saturday yet but It would be nice to drop into the camp site Saturday night to say hello as I only live up the road. Could you let me know the site address please?
