Cracked Screen
 

Hey all, I got back from a long ride mix of dirt & tar to find that my original wind shield (screen) had a crack in it & one of the plastic fixing screws had lost its head. I didn't hit anything or drop the bike. The crack runs from near the top corner of the headlight to the nearest fixing point. Basically across the narrowest part of the screen.

Anyone else had the same thing? Is it just another little minor design fault as I always thought this may happen as I've often watched the wing part of the screen vibrating franticly at certain speeds and conditions?

Any pointers/advice welcome.

Hi Desert Racer, I'm surprised at that as having cut down my screen I can tell you it was pretty tough !, I wonder if the extreme heat out there affects the perspex....although you would associate cracking with extreme cold. Steve

Yeah I know, I did find it a bit of surprise for a duel purpose bike.. I will try & get one under warranty.
