Alright chaps!

Hello!

how are we? I'm Tom, I live in west London. Touch wood I will pick up my 2005 XT660X on Wednesday once its been serviced. I originally had a KTM 690 SMC but it was stolen within 4 days in the middle of the night :076:

The XT is not a replacement (totally in denial) but on the test ride it didn't seem a million miles apart. The XT I'm buying has 7000 miles on the clock, FSH and some pretty tasty sounding Arrow cans on it. Looks nice and fresh for a bike of its age, in red/black. Will figure how to post pictures at some point. Tips on how to do this would be great.

looking forward to having a good poke around the bike once I have it home to see if its just the cans that have been modified or if it have any other treats.

I will keep you posted and will be in the 'mods' section by the weekend!

All the best

Tom

ohh my spellings bad?? :fing37: I don't care.

:006: Welcome on board Tom.

Lovely smart XT you've got there; doesn't look anything like a ten year old motorcycle!

I've taken the liberty of blanking out your registration plate on the last image - always a good idea when posting pics of your bike on the web. After all, having lost one bike, I'm sure you don't want some tea leaf to use your bike's identity on some other poor guy's stolen red XT660X and then you end up picking up all the parking fines and speeding tickets! ;)

Your neighbours are going to love you, what with all those alarms! ;)

I've got one of those Xena alarm disc locks and it was forever going off of it's own accord. Still use it though... sans the battery.
