All in one tent

Don't know what the pack size of this is but it looks like good solution for replacing the tent, sleeping bag and sleeping mat. Bit on the heavy side though.

Obviously it's for cold to very cold countries.

I like the concept, I've always been a fan of the Bivi approach, it's just the 'where do you put stuff' question that scuppers it.

I had that same thought. Maybe take a little child size tent with for the gear but then you are back to 2 items instead of one.

Not quite the same thing as the all-in-one in the link, but I've used bivis and they can be made to work for motorcycle travel, but only effectively if you've got hard luggage and a top case to keep your riding gear, helmet and other bits and pieces safe and dry during the night. I've also only ever used mine (VAUDE Bivi 1P) for one night stops and in conjunction with a tarp. The biggest problem I found was with "micro" tents is condensation build up. With a tarp over it though you can leave it more open.

I have since sold it and bought an ever so slightly bigger Vango Zenith 100 for lightweight/quick camping as it's less claustrophobic, better vented and not a lot bigger/heavier in pack size.

I'll invest in the bivi setup when I go on a trip solo (me without wifey).
