Photo of today

It's wet and cold, the wind is icy, the sea is rough, but I must get a ride in after work

Hi Dual, great photo. ...Can't believe it's cold there. ..! Steve

Great shot.
Are those orange lens covers a legal thing you have to have for bikes in SA as I've seen others with them to?

Thanks for comments
South Africa has different climate regions, from desert to snowy mountains
Winter in the Cape is wet and cold
The amber light cover, yes some say it's illegal, others, not
Cops have different views about it, useless for night driving, but a must for visibility during day, the old excuse, "I did not see you" :hmh:

Makes me miss the Cape and its stormy seas. Thanks for sharing Dual. Now how do I get my Tenere from England to Cape Town again?

You could always ride it there Jacq:toothy9:

I'll follow you Keith.

"You could always ride it there Jacq"

It would be one hell of a trip. It might be worth watching Ewan & Charlie's A Long Way Down from what I remember it was a similar ride. Take a spare couple of filters & some decent goggles though the top end of Africa is a bit sandy.
I know some people you could stay with in Zimbabwe to grab a shower & a feed.
Yup that would be a proper adventure.
