Jassis! How fast were you going when you encountered the little guy? This is a close call, the camera makes him look further way than he is I think!
Generally they have amazing road sense though; I can't recall ever seeing baboon road kill come to think of it....
Clarence Drive is a beaut of a ride. Have you had close calls with baboons on that stretch before M?

66 km/h, never had an issue with them, they usually go away if traffic approaches
But it's a baboon, one does not know what they think, if they think, instinct
