Australian Insurance don't recognise 660x as a 2004 model
 

Hi Guys,

Might be an Australia problem, might be an insurance company problem but my insurers can't find the xt660x for 2004, only 2005.

Also on the rego (Australian Required document) equivalent of the UK logbook the model is listed as XTZ695A and the variant as XTZ660.

I went on the NRMA website (roadside assistance) to update my vehicle details and again no 2004 X. I ended up putting it down as 2005.

Not even sure if you guys can help but needed a forum :) Anyone else had similar issues?

We only ever got the XTX in 2005 I got one of the very first ones released & was hooked had 3 new ones in a row.

Going off the rego it was a 2014 model but from researching, it appears a lot of 2014 models didn't arrive on these sunny shores until 2015.

My insurance company ended up updating their system to accept 2014 as a listed year for the xt660x so we're all good now.
