Brake Cable blocking view of clocks
 

I have just bought an XTX (hello!) and I have a braded brake hose running from the right over the clocks and down to the front (obviously!)

However my seating position means thats right in front of the speedo

Anyone else had this and any tips to move it out of the way?

You must have a very very fat cable....

The brake hose usualy is held back by a clip.
Habe a look at your left steering mount, there supposed to be a little angle with a hole for the clip.

if you loosen the bolt that connects the hose to the master cylinder just a tiny bit (so that it does not leak) you can rotate the fitting down. Getting the key into the lock is a bit more fiddly but works just fine for me.
