I love my xt/r
Picked up a brand new xt/r a little while ago, and so far I've only managed to rack up 240km due to weather, work and other cr@p. But, I love it. Spent around 100km on fairly good gravel roads and another 100 on crap asphalt, and the bike allows me to throw it around without feeling like it'll kill me. The TDM I had before had a really nice, brutal power, but I never felt like I could get any use of it, so traded it in for xt/r, having had a lot of experience with older xt/r's and xt600's. Now I have the same feeling for riding as I had when I had my -98 FZS600, which gave me about 40k km's over 7 seasons. Haven't done anything to the bike yet, but looking into some of the "standard" mods posted around here, and also get myself some crash bars. Oh, not loving the original tyres much... :( But other than that, absolutely fantastic machine so far, and hope to post some nice pictures of northern Sweden once my vacation starts! :045:
