GSFred newbie..

Hi All... Newbie to the group..sorry about the handle I have been riding a GS in various forms for the last 16 years. Easier to keep the same moniker. Before that 2 TDM's, XJR1200, Pegaso, GSXR750, VFR, Ducati, etc. Took a fancy to another thumper as getting a bit old now to lug big things about. Love the Xt. Light, nimble and a gem of a motor. Big grin factor. Bought used off a lad up north, bit tatty but am working on it. Good forum chaps, (and chapesses) better than the the GS forum. Lots of nerdy fuddy duddies there. ( I got banned from the local BMW riders club for overtaking, you have to know your place ) I may be 64 but still 19 mentally and can still scratch with the best of them. Anyway hope to chat more when got something to say or advice to give but you brainy lot seem to have most things sorted. Live Free and Ride. PS How do you add photos. Sorry if I am being thick.

Welcome mate! You have to create a photobucket account and upload the links to your pics in your post. Otherwise you could join as a paid up member.

Hey gsFred, welcome mate. Sounds like you have some interesting stories. I thought getting banned from places was for the realm of youngsters !!:slywink:
Cheers.

:006: Welcome on board mate.

As for posting photos, all you do need to do is have a URL for each image; its dead easy

Just sign up to any image hosting site (such as Photobucket, Flickr, Dropbox etc) and upload your pictures. Once you have your pictures hosted on line, they each have their own URL (web address) which you can then link to in your posts here.

All you need to do then, is click on the "insert image" button when creating your forum post and paste in the direct link (URL) of the hosted image you want to display and that's it.
