New '10 Tenere rider in Perth, Western Australia

Hey guys,

Finally got my hands on a Tenere after about 12 months of looking longingly at them. I've had an '08 KLR in the past along with a bunch of cafe racers and older bikes, but plan to hang onto this one for a while and then head off around the world on it, Australia > South America > USA > Canada > Russia then just ride in circles till I'm sick of it.

Already bought a set of Kreiga Tail Bags, they're awesome and exactly what I wanted.

Owned it for all of 24 hours and went on a 600km overnight trip just to take advantage of the fact that I had a night off.

Haha we probably just missed each other going in opposite directions.

Pleiades/Capt - Is there anywhere on the forums to do a 'build thread' style thing? Slighty self-mastabatory but I'm used to it on modified car forums and they work as a good way to remind myself of everything I've done. Already started making up some custom bash guards and protectors and building shopping carts online for when I get paid haha.

There is a section on service and maintenance further down you could use, feel free to explore :)

Weather

Nice pics.
I envy your sunshine. Here in the UK, all we keep getting is miserable rain and when dry, bone shivering cold snaps.
I used to put money away for a rainy day......now i'm broke.
