Hi Desert Racer, fear not!!, that nice day on the Ten yesterday will be balanced out by a 14 hr day today. I'm self employed and as I get no paid holiday, no sick pay I decided there had to be some positives, So if there's a nice day forecast and I can juggle work around I'm grabbing it...life's too short!! By the way, watched some stuff on YouTube about an Australian firm that upgrades the Tenere, they seem well thought of in Auss ...the Barrett exhaust system sounds good! All the best Steve

That's OK then, get out & ride you've earned it !! It's great to be able to dictate your own hours for a good cause.
I haven't heard a Barrett pipe in the flesh but I believe they have a fair bark to them.

Hi Steve, what fantastic weather for a ride today. Needed a helmet so found myself having to drive down your neck of the woods. Sorry, no fore warning, otherwise I would have tried to meet up. This was West Wittering today. Had to stop for ice cream and watch the sea. Bikes are allowed in for FREE! Bargain.

Hi Jacque, great photo...I was just up the road in Chichester, you could have swung by for a cuppa, the owners of where I'm working are in Italy. Did you get a new lid.? Wish I was heading to Wales with you guys, those roads in Snowdonia look great. Steve

Yes I was at helmet city in Chichester. The industrial part. Sorry but didn't know how to reach you at short notice. My first ever full face helmet. Just realised that a few hours on motorway with my open face helmet may not be a good idea with all the buffeting the shop was very helpful. Stocked every make and model and I could try them all on with no pressure.

I have always used Bell. They just fit me. So got the X9. It's also half the price of the shoei or arai.

The Bell x9 is a good looking helmet at a great price, and yes, they are friendly to deal with at Helmet city...no pressurised selling!. Steve

Any rides planned anytime soon? Just got myself a tenere! I'm in bournemouth, seen some pretty cool looking trails in this thread!!
