hi all i want to fit a set of protaper bars to my 09 660x

is it a straight swap or do i need to get different risers

You will need to fit risers to suit 28mm bars. The stock risers are 22mm.

Also check your bolt diameter as most of the clamps come with a thinner or thicker bolts.
