rear brake pedal max adjustment.
 

I've just fitted some SW Motech footpegs and fitted them on the lower postion, after adjusting the brake pedal i'm finding the pedal is still sitting a few mm to high, is there anymore adjustment available or am i just going to have to live with it?

p.s. riding stood up now feels so natural and confortable.

I had the same problem mate and had to remove the adjustment nuts off and cut a little off the bolt, it removed the split pin but I just put a spring washer on. Nut at the top and a spring washer and nut on the bottom. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...da01e5bb1d.jpg hope this helps

It gave me a heap of adjustment to lower my brake down even with an added metal brake foot pad

As Dirty Tenere suggests, the key is to deal with the nut/locknut which takes up a lot of the thread and consequently adjustment.

You can buy yourself enough adjustment by simply grinding down the nuts to half their thickness (or fit thinner nuts). You then don't need to cut the thread or lose the split pin.

Not sure whether the arrangement is the same on the R as it is on the Z though?
