YaY, cheers guys really nice to nearly meet you all. Must tell you all how this bike picked me. One miserable day my son and i headed off to yeovil in somerset to purchase a rather expensive power tool needed to continue making a profit and expand for our little building firm. As the tool shop was next door to bike shop we popped in. "Son, can you just hold this bike while i take a couple of pics for ebay? asked the salesman. Harry obliged, i looked, i, i ,i wanted, like a puppy that ' bike' gave me the eyes i didnt know what it was, honda,yam, 250, 950 single twin whatever didnt care............................so i loaned and gorrit and lovit. Tina not happy till they met then all cooooooooll. Thank you all for my joy and will furnish you with pics mods etc. peech

That type of stuff happens, it's worse when your son works at a bike shop :surrender::D

Yes, thanks paul. im so used to riding a vtwin that when i took the 'x' out for a test ride at low revs i thought id run out of fuel then off it flew again, most disconcerting. Still it would have to run like a 1 cylinder diesel to dissuade me from buying her. thanks to xt660.com and you guys i know im gonna get things sorted. nicccceone.
