Long shot, bash plate

Hi All,
Bit of a long shot but like my old Nan used to say "if you dont ask you dont get" so, I am looking for a 2nd hand bash plate/sump guard for my XT660Z. Standard plastic one has broken, really would like Adventure spec one but anything considered.
Cheers

Hi weaveMcQuilt,
Thanks for the offer but have decided to get an ally one either new or 2nd hand.
thanks though, kind thought.

I've got the Adventure spec one...

It's bloody expensive and heavy, but it's the only one

to protect the water pump.

It's also a complete ******* to do an oil change so think carefully about whether you really need it.

I think it is more the access to the sump drain and oil filter housing that's the gripe?

Hi Maxwell123455,

Thanks for the offer but after lots of research i have decided to have one fabricated. Very few offer the case protection i would like and those that do are very expensive, between 160 and 225. Local engineer reckons he can do one for alot less so will give it a try. I will keep the templates and post photos when its done.

Thanks once again

cheers

no bother

I must have been a "good boy" last year, cause Santa left one under the Christmas tree for me :icon_lol:
