       New to XT660.com

       Just thought I'd say hi.
Just picked up a 2010 XT660z Tenere & thought it wise to join XT660.com, not just for any useful advice & help but also to hopefully make a few friends along the way. I'm not new to bikes, been riding for nearly 30yrs now & in that time I've owned a diverse selection of machines from sports to retro & cruisers to trail bikes. I also own a Yam 1600 Wildstar (Roadstar in the US) which only makes an appearance on nice sunny days, hence why I picked up an XTZ to ride at all other times :023: Looking forward to a few chats, a few laughs & maybe a few meets/rides with fellow members in the future. Welcome aboard, Baz! Like you, I have an XT, albeit an R, to supplement my bigger bike. I love how different it is and I'm sure you will too. The Z is a cracking bike.

Hey fellow XTZ owner, welcome along. I run a GSXR1000 in the summer and an xtz in winter. Very underrated hooligan machine in my opinion.
Stick up some pics of your bikes when you get a chance. |

This is the only pic I have atm, taken after my test ride at the dealers.
It has now got a taller screen, hand guards & a metal top case. Will post more up later :023: https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...9ad34e79bc809c |
