Crash bar to fit with 2 into 1 exhaust

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows of crash bars that fit with the 2-1 exhaust?

My xtr has the metal mule exhaust, MM bashplate and gilimoto tank. I had a soft "off" in sand the other day and have bent the lower bracket supporting the tank to the radiator. I want to protect the tank and radiator in future falls. I have looked around and can't find anything that would work. I like the look of the hepco Becker crash bars but I don't think they will fit with the MM exhaust.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah,
I had the Metal Mule exhaust on my previous XT660R. I fitted a set of Fehlings crash bars to it and they worked quite well. The right hand bar needs the middle fixing tube sawn off, and I had to cut a slot in the (Touratech) bashplate for the lower tube.

The instructions are in German, but installation is quite simple.

how much clearance was there between the bars & tank...
the gilli tank is wider than at standard yamaha one...
