Newbie XTX owner, Isle of Wight
Hello all,
I have finally succumb to an XTX....... Been riding since I was 16, now on the wrong side of 25 years in various saddles. After spending years thinking these are awesome looking bikes, I decided it was time to buy one. I've traded in my Moto Guzzi Stelvio, 1200 V twin, for a brand new Black XTX :-) Picking it up on Friday. Only planing a few light mods as i'm only really using it as a commuter and the odd ride into town, doing around 4k miles a year on my little island. Maybe the DNA's, Lamba and fuel mods by Kev that i've read so much about...... As I start early shifts at 04:00hrs and finish late shifts at 01:30hrs, I will leave the standard cans on, don't want to be upsetting the neighbours anymore than i already have.....:093: Hopefully, I will like it that much that im gonna stay with the XT for a good few years to come. Best regards, Scott |
Well wear, shiny side up now! Get some spacers and 15w oil into the forks and it'll make the front end much less squishy.

You have never driven on the Isle of Wight, squishy is good, its like riding on farm tracks......:hmh:

Hello
Hi mate , Enjoy your new ride.
Maybe you could start up an Isle of Wight TT Super Moto Style? Cheers Ken |
:006: Welcome on board Scott.

Hmmmm, IOW Super Moto TT......now theres a thought :icon_evil:
We used to host an RAC rally stage, years ago...... :-) |
Welcome aboard, Scott. I'm sure you'll enjoy the XT but I'm intrigued by the Stelvio, a rare beast indeed which makes it somewhat more appealing than a BMW GS. Did you like it?
