Hi from buxton uk, pleased to be here

First time I've ever joined a forum or done anything like this so what better place to Pop my cherry than on an xt660 forum.
Just got my full licence and gone from a wr125r to my beast of a ***** Mrs xt660 z.
She is white and big and fast and amazing. I
I would like to sort the exhaust out, maybe decat but can't find any reference on how to do it, any advice? I would also like to sort out some aux lights, cheap like. I've fitted heated grips, quite happy with them and I intend to ride through winter so will hopefully make some sort of snow chains. All a labour of love but I have a wife 3 kids a dog and a job all after my attention so it will take time. I am struggling to find places to ride off road too. Looked on byways.com but seems like the red sock bregade are closing them off one by one( I forgot the world belongs to them) but would love to go on a trip to the highlands of Scotland and hopefully some South Coast rides too.
If you have read this far thanks very much I hope to interact with y'all a bit more as I figure out how to navigate this place- it's taken me 40mins to find where to write this- take care and all that ****

Hi and welcome from Yorkshire. I venture down to the Peak district fairly often to camp, the small roads are great. Regularly camp at Wetton. There are quite a few trails in the area but I don't know exactly where thay are. I have trailed down there before, but lead by someone else. the year is not over yet and I just might get down there again. Will post if I do.

In the meantime enjoy your new bike. Steve:weathermanf4[1]:
