altitude and air temp?
 

Hi i hope this is in the right place?
i have read on here a few times about the altitude and air temp making a difference on how a bike should be set up and how it will run.
the thing is i am living in Siem reap Cambodia Elevation above sea level: 15 m = 49 ft and an average temperature of 26�C

but my bike was imported from Vienna Austria Elevation above sea level: 164 m = 538 ft and an average temperature of 9.8�C

so is my bike set up wrong for where im staying and if so what do i need to do?

i already have a Kev fuel mod and 02 mod on the way is this enough?

The difference in altitude between 15m and 164m is pretty much insignificant in terms of air pressure. You'd expect to see that sort of variation in a normal day's ride.

As for the average air temperature, that is dealt with by the air intake temperature (AIT) sensor and the ECU will compensate for this difference.

The only thing to consider is the setting on the Kev mod is temperature dependent to a certain degree. The recommended settings are for an ambient temperature of 20�C if I recall. I find that, for the bike to run sweetly, I need to go one position higher (richer) if the air temp drops much below 15�C (two positions higher for 0�C) and one position lower (weaker) if the air temp is much above 25�C (which it rarely is in the UK!) So I'd guess that you probably need to set the mod in one position lower than that recommended for your filter setup if the ambient is 26�C.

Below is a graph showing ambient temperature against corrected AIT temperature adjusted by the fueling mod. As you can see the Lines aren't parallel. In order to keep the temperature differential the same at the extremes temperatures you need to adjust the mod accordingly.
