narrower handle bar
 

has anyone successfully replaced the standard bar on XTR/S with a shorter one?

I find the with a little of a problem when filtering in heavy traffic and I have to let go some of the gaps because of the bar width.

Also, when making tight turns on full lock, the bar end touch my thighs and dealing with S bends on normal road feels clumsy (similar to driving with an over-size steering wheel!)
