Hi, I guess I am like a lot of 'old gits' - looking for a bike that is a lot lighter than my present one (R1150GSA), which is capable of much the same, but is not as complicated and won't cost me an arm and a leg to run and service! So I'm looking at an XT660Z Tenere to replace the beemer and have a soft spot for Yams as I also run a TTR250R.
I was directed here by a post on UKGSer.com and am pleased to see that there is a great deal of useful info. and the same cameraderie.
Looking forward to reading more.

Yeah, you'll like it in here, we are very sympathetic, and when people admit to us that they own or have owned a BMW GS, we really feel for them, put it this way, for us is just like they've taken a lot of courage to come out of the closet like saying... :gayrepost:
