Is it me?

It might just be me but..................isn't life too short to worry about cleaning bikes? In Britain you can pretty much guarantee that after 3 hours of sweat and elbow grease your shiny pride and joy will be rained on and therefore dirty again.

So, ride it. Don't polish it.:icon_scoot[1]:

Unless you have a fetish that is.

It is a never ending labour of love. For me part of owning the bike is the joy of making it sparkle. That said first and foremost riding is the main pleasure.

I am with you in part but having a high milage bike in mint condition is the way to go,just as cleaning the wife's car now and again is a good move , so life is too short so ride all you can but clean it after.:002:

You get dirty after a shower, hungry after a meal. Its personal preference

One things for sure though, a bike(or car) that isn't cleaned regularly will be obvious for any would be buyers when it comes to selling. I'd personally be put off by that...

Abosulutely. Life is too short to worry about cleaning the bike even for the weather in the South of Spain.:glasses9:

nope not just you fella...

I can't be arsed either, I did give it a clean for the second time since I bought it and found I have serious salt corrosion on the wheels.. Not sure of the best way of getting rid of it, anyone know a good way?? I'm guessing a bit of t-cut and some hard work, but to be honest I don't know If I should just take them off and spray them black.!

I like to treat the cleaning process as part of the general maintainance and checks. It's my opportunity to check that she's AOK and not about to kill me (well that's what I tell my wife I also like the admiring glances I get at lights from dipsh!ts in cages :119: )
