       Newbie 1 week with a Xt-R
        
       So one week with the XT-R. Brake pads ebc hh done engine oil and filter hi floorfilter and HG Semi synth oil. Tyres tomorrow. Then fork & dust seals to do. Enjoyed some rides out. Really heavy after my L'al XT225:blob3: can't wait to get back up to scratch. :pics now::pics now::needpics[1]::Photos_3NT5BI:

       Thanks for the welcome everyone. So far XT-R home serviced. Engine oil & filter, magnetic sump plug. Also air filter, Fork seals & yam fork 10W oil replaced. Spark plug to do. Taller screen and rack for some light touring c/o eBay. Thinking of taking it to TT 2014 instead of the Versys to blat round some of the lovely back roads. New rear Mitas E-08 scrubbing in well. Contemplating a matched mitas front tyre once the Mich Sirac 90/90-21 is ready to be changed. 
        Any tips? The Aussy Fuel mod looks interesting. Thought there are fuel settings in the menu on the dash? also chain&sprockets? Which are good. Wouldn't mind some throaty cans but enjoying the polite put-put-pop put-put of the XT-R ;-) Thanks for any advice/ tips |
