What I forgot to say I had contact with the seller in 011 when he last had it forsale and he wants strong money for it!! way off what the bid is up too.

Speaking of reg plates, I was very fortunate to recently receive, just by chance, 'ADV' plates for my Ten. Thought I did well till 2 days later my 77 year old stepdad received, by chance, for his Guzzi, AGD 77.
There's always someone out there that does one better LOL

Yes, I had a bid on it this time around (and the last!) and the final bid of 410 was all it's money, plus a bit in my opinion.

I'm not sure there are many XTX owners that silly with their dosh :o. It would be nice to have, but would only add a few hundred to the bike's value if any at all.........

I offered him a dam sight more than that 2 years ago and the plan was to put the number on a car,but he wanted 4 figures the last time I conversed with him on ebay.

No Way is that number worth 1,000 +......... That's just a crazy figure.........

Hopefully Bobby Boy will read this thread and have the balls to stick it on with no reserve and then we'll see it's true value........

At least it's costing him to use a reserve on ebay each time and to then not sell. Also keeping hold of the number and not using it on a vehicle costs money each year if I remember correctly......... :rofl[1]:

The value of the number just like anything else in life is worth what you can get for it,the valuation that matters is his!! because you can't force him to sell, besides when I have dealt with the seller he didn't strike me as being down to his last 50p :001:

I agree, but then I don't have that kind of money to chuck away at stuff that doesn't matter.

To someone who has that kind of spare cash..... would they be riding an 660X ? Most people with that sort of money would buy something more exotic I would think.

Even if there was a rich person out there, with that kind of disposable spare cash, they are still going to consider re-sale, and it just isn't there.

Maybe he is waiting for YamGGOx to want to buy his namesake ?

Or Yam9 Gox ?

Ya MG GOX ?

Who knows, but I think he'll be keeping his reg fro a while.

I bid 550 2 years ago and it never even got too that, hence why I didn't bother this time.

That sounds a very very good and fair offer to me. I maybe wrong here but I'm sure I saw this number on an XTX on ebay when I first started looking to buy one of these bikes and I'm also sure it didn't go for any great premium due to the number plate.

It's one of those things I would like to own but would have trouble fronting my mates out if I handed over more than a few hundred quid for this number.......

Cheers,

OX......
