I use my XT all the year round, but it must be said that the winter here in Roma is nice and mild compared to Cumbria, at worst we get some rain and some cold days but never tooo cold!!

went out for a spin on sun morning down the borders of Scotland, misty, foggy and cold, but was still good fun

Yes - loads of sports bikes out Sunday. I got muscled out of the way twice by bikers wishing to tailgate the vehicle in front of me with no opportunity to overtake.
