XT660z fuse box issue

Hi all, I have a 2012 Tenere that seems to have a problem with the main fuse box, positioned under the seat.

It first showed up when the positional lamps (side & tail) and indicators stopped working all of a sudden. I found that putting a little pressure on the top of the fuse box seemed to cure it for a short while, but it kept re-occurring.

Having been to Wigan Yamaha, who were supposed to have fixed it under warranty, all seemed fine until this week.

Whilst enroute to work on Monday I felt the bike suddenly losing power for a second or two, before kicking back in again. Although it got me there and back on Monday, on Wednesday the bike just wouldn't start.

I have finally got around to fettling with it today and, upon turning the ignition on, I noticed that I could not hear the 'whine' of the fuel pump. Assuming that it was therefore electrical rather than bad fuel or a garbage plug, I tried the fuse box again and BOOM, it fired up first push of the button!

So, although the issue should be getting sorted under warranty (for a second time!!), I was wondering if anyone else had suffered similar issues and if so, what is the cause and fix for it?

Cheers!
