Tenere for very tall rider
 

am thinking about selling my Tenere, which, as my user name suggests is very well set up for tall riders. I am now using a DRZ (also well set up for tall riders) and the Tenere is languishing in the garage.

I am not advertising it yet formally, but would be interested to hear from any tall riders amonst you who might be keen.

Details are:
Black 2008 Tenere
11K miles
Second owner (I have owned it since 350 miles)
Bar risers and high bars (all cables routed to accomodate)
High suspension
Lowered pegs
Re-profiled seat
Stainless pannier racks
Akropovic end cans
Kev mod

Anyone interested, should I sell it??

I don't know how tall are you. I'm 6'7 and I was looking few years for a bike I can comfortable ride in standing position (after mods) and I've found small Ten is the only way to go. I've checked numberof bikes (KTM 990, GS800, DR650 etc) and I always was croocked. I could ride like that for some time, but its very uncomfortable and fatiguing. DRZ400 is a nice dual bike, but definatelly not an adventure bike. If you don't plan to go for an adventure trip sell Ten, but if you go to visit ie Balkans - Tenere 660 is the way to go.

If you have to ask, then no!
