Taking the Ten for a walk (Video)

A quick video showing some lanes I went through yesterday around London with a couple of friends:

Bear with me. Still learning... the worst part, the mud sections...:weathermanf4[1]:

Yes, he told me that you went to Morroco last Ocober too. Damn, I wish I could have joined the trip. Look like it was a good one! I will have to wait for the next trip. Anything on the pipeline for this year? :blob3:

I think the radiator is waiting for me to pick it up on Monday from the post office :)

That was pleasant viewing. They looked like nice gentle lanes there, until the getting stuck bit :). Lovely looking lanes

Hebbo,
That looks like fun. I guess I've got about the same skill level as you (saw your mates roaring past!)
I would be left behind, I think!

Hatfield isn't too far from me, would love to join you for a day if you go out again.
I need some decent tyres though, got road tyres at the moment.

What have you got on yours?
Steve.

Hi Steve,

yes, you are right. They passed me, but I just wanted to make sure that they dont get lost :sbike:

Just joking. Yes, at the moment I am still learning but these ride outs really help to improve. I have been out a few days with the Herts TRF people. Totally recommend you to join one of their beginners ride.

My tyres are TKC80. Havent done more than 1K miles with them, so cannot really throw a decent opinion about them, but they are allright with not too much mud (you can see what happened to me on the mud :D )
Tom, the guy at the blue Ten has some more aggressive Mitas, and he said the grip was very good on the mud. On the road obviously they are a bit... "funny".

I will let you know when we go for a ride in a couple of weeks. You will have time to switch tyres if you want. I totally recommend you to do it.
Also, you can have a look to this free book about off-roading skills. I quite liked it:
