To brake to bead on the trail with tire levers...
push both levers between the rim/bead on top of each other then force a spanner/screw driver between them & you can use them like plires to force the bead away from the rim... You can buy tires levers that fit togeather to make bead brakeing plires... tubeless rims & DR650 rims can be a real pain in the a$$ to brake the bead seal... |
I changed the rear Trailmax for a Tkc today , it was a pain to break the bead and had to use clamps ..

Tyres for XT660Z
The best rear tyre that I`ve used and still prefer , is a Mitas E09 140/17 Rear and a C19 Mitas front , for off road.
I use the same rear tyre always ,but change the front tyre for riding to work in the week with a Michalin Karoo 3 , awesome road holding , wet or dry tar roads/ And do all the tyre changes myself with my own Beadmasters. http://youtu.be/RWH3PRgjOKM |
