desperate help needed.

Hi guys,

Got a problem, just about getting ready to go on a 4 day trip and my bike won't start.

All i'm getting is a rapid clicking under the seat.

fuses all ok
battery well juiced up
all connections tight.

it worked yesterday and doesn't today and have nothing to it in between.

The sound is coming from the starter thing with the two green fuses in under the seat, it's clicking rapid and no turn over at all...

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp....

:signthankspin:

If you have a multimeter can you measure the battery voltage while cranking, measuring the voltage across the battery it should not drop below 10Volts when you are trying to crank the bike.

Or not charging.

Sounds like a battery to me also....

As an aside when my battery went flat last year(after the moto was sitting for a long spell) I charged it with a normal battery charger and it's been good ever since. Handbook says to have it charged by a dealer wit a special battery charger......

Just say'in like...

:)
