My headlight bulb has gone west , it's the dipped beam .

Night Racer Plus and Night Breaker Plus are exactly the same bulbs! One is sold for cars and says "longer lifetime", the other sold for bikes saying "vibration resistant" - which amount to the same thing. Both have the same Osram part number: 64210. Only thing is, like anything marketed for bikes, it comes in a fancier package and is nearly twice the price! ;)

That is I assume you mean Night Racer - they don't do a Night Rider.

I bought a two pack (for cars) Philips "+100%" and these bulbs are far better than the originals in both my XTR and Honda Shadow. I think especially the XTR had some no-name bulb in it and benefitted a lot from the upgrade.
The Honda has about one Volt lower tension from the alternator and at the lamp . New lamp made the light much brighter and clearer.
