Hi from Kent, UK

Hi folks,

Picking up a new Tenere sometime next week....greatly looking forward to it after having a Honda NC700 for the last 6 months. Always fancied a Ten after seeing the original in 1985! Had an XT600E a while ago and still have an Africa Twin. AT & Ten...what more could one want?

Welcome Mark, I am just down the road from you (Boughton), welcome aboard.
I am sure you will enjoy your new ride, the TEN is a great bike.

Hi Mark, welcome, an AT, oh I'd like to add that to the collection, but they're pretty scarce down here.

Ok, if I see a black Ten with Givi(?) bars around here it's most probably you then!
Should be picking up my Ten from The Bike Shop, Faversham later this week...can't wait :) I've fancied one off and on since 1985!

That's good, another XT in East Kent!

Picked up the beast this morning and felt at home on it straight away, so much so I took the long way home in spite of heavy rain. The screen seems surprisingly effective but I think some decent handguards are on the list of farkles to make winter riding enjoyable.

Hello Mark and welcome to the site.

Sounds like your enjoying the Tenere.
