Shady characters

Came home to find these two nicking lead from my roof. If anybody knows them let me know - they scarpered before I got my hands on them.

Which one? Is that the one in the hi-vis on the outside, or the one with the hi-vis under his jacket! ;)

One of my favorite runs that. Aye not all the wildlife is spread over the tarmac!

Would that be Loch Toada??

toada ? should have said 'road'..... bl00dy phones!

It was on the B851, around Aberarder I think. They were eating some road kill and took off in front of me. Those roads put an end to the effectiveness of my front tyre, can't take slow speed turns now, it's seriously scalloped.

We had a cracking day on Saturday taking the old pass over to the Kylerhea ferry then the pass down towards the Five Sisters. We road some lovely single track and some cracking steep accents and descents.

Sundays ride was, well,,,,, interesting to say the least with the Skye Bridge 'Closed to high sided vehicles' and the side winds on Rannoch Moor taking Keith sideways faster than his forward motion, we had interesting times... like the old Chinese proverb!

I think we uncovered a flaw with the Magadan soft luggage though, I was riding reasonably true, but Keith was being caught by the wind much more, scarily more. (for reference, I had a roll top bag, Keith had magadans). I've never noticed the bike being 'caught' by side winds with the ZegaPros' quite as much as Keiths' bike was.

Sounds like you paid for the Saturday on the Sunday, but I'm sure the Saturday made it worth it. Rannoch is wild at times!!!
Only ever rode the ten with the small Oxford 'sports' type panniers on a windy ride back from a lakes meet and that was bad enough.

Don't go blaming the phone mate - its those big chubby fingers!

I dont think on reflection it was the bags though. I had water ingress in my HT leads and the power was suffering. I was up and down the gear box to gather revs, it made it difficult on the physics from!

Always good to meet up with you guys - bit p.ss.d off that I could only manage a morning ride tho.
Did you get some good photos?

See ya later.
