Fitted my stage 1 and 2 dna filter kit to the tenere a few months back and all was great but ive just noticed that the actual filter is loose in the airbox it moves around anyone else got this ?

Some where on here i posted about this !!! did away with the snorkel and being a tight barsteward wasn't going to spend �40 on the placie thing !!

So just cut a lenght of fuel pipe (8mm ish) glued the ends together to form a loop , put it in the bottom of the air box and popped the filter on top !!!

Works perfect and cost nawt :eusa_dance:

Ah, but Mr YZF has the proper DNA top, which should fit as snug as a bug in a rug straight out of the box! ;)

Something ain't right if the DNA stage 1 filter is rattling with the genuine stage 2 cover?

Is the seal still in place on the underside of the cover? Is the cover on the the wrong way up? (If that's possible to do?) Is it screwed down fully? Maybe a stray wire or cable is trapped between the cover and the airbox? Have you been supplied with the right DNA filter?
