Hello from Frodsham, Cheshire

Hi guy's.

I'm collecting a 660Z on Thursday, and paid the 10 supporters fee as I'm sure I will need to pick your brains.

I have an old XT600Z Tenere that some of you may have spotted on ebay. My old knees just don't want to kick it over!

Once I get the 660 I'm planning to get a photo of the two together, the oldest and newest Tenere's!

So, I'm a bit nervous re the height of the 660. I'm 5'9", have already received a set of lowering links to fit as soon as I have balanced my way home. The bikes only done 3 miles in total as the first owner managed to fall off as soon as he bought it and swapped it back at the dealers for an FZ.
Cheers
Gary

:006: Welcome aboard Gary

Nice old school Tenere that :023:

You'll be fine with the height of the "new" Tenere. I'd give it a good old go at the standard height first and see how you get on; a lot of people short in the leg actually manage perfectly well. You can always fit your lowering links if it doesn't work out.
