moving on

well i am and im not

the tenere is going on monday ive sold it to a freind of mine so i will have full visiting rights

its been a great bike to me one of the best ive had

whay sell ..well a few guys know me and the truth is its just getting to tall and heavy off road ...i would say 50percent of my riding time is off tarmack
if i was four inches taller and 25 years younger i wouldnt be selling her . im hurtling towards 60 now at the speed of light and have to bow to the onset of physical decline and demetia

.its the bestlooking adventure bike out there bar non ..

ive been using the klr ..which in lot of ways is not as good as the tenere but its deffinatly more managable on tough ground ..for me ..so thats the way things are going

ruts apart ..

the ccm is now on the horizon up and running so i have to pay for her soon ..
its not all sweetness and light valve checks at 5000 miles and major overhaul possible at 15000 miles ..madness really
but im planning on keeping her as a weekend warrior and saddling the wilderbeast for the longer trips so she should do a couple of seasons at least before i get me wallet thumped to badly

anyway ill still be on the forum and would hope to see you guys araound ill come up the lakes next year if thats ok

best regards steve

That's very OK, our little meet has grown beyond a single marque, it's the people that make it an event.

Besides, I'd pay good money to see you bring the CCM up fully loaded :surrender:

Nice one. I'll be very interested to hear how the CCM goes for you.

Now Minkeyhead....will you be factory testing in Maroc on the CCM?

By the by,are there any return ferry timetables published yet?

I'm in the middle of working out a rough route.....read a rough general direction...we'll be having a rest/exploring day in Merzouga and then initially planning to scoot over to Zagora via Ramlia.

I'll email you et al with a rough route, timings and kms when I half get it worked out, along with approx numbers.

All the best with your new moto...

:)
