Hi all,

Just thought I would say hello, i'm a new member from Buckinghamshire in the UK.

My partner and I are looking at doing a round the world trip and are currently looking at the bikes to take...... current thinking is either two XT660R's or GS650 GS's.

Any thoughts?

The XT's will be a great bike to take round the world and many of our members have done just that, some are indeed at it as we speak (or type)

Welcome on board Simon, from another Simon!! The choice is of course yours and both bikes you mention are great tools, the Yamaha is for sure a less expensive choice and in our experience a reliable beast too. Good luck and enjoy this site!!
