stalls - idlle speed

Hi,

I have a little problem with my xt660x. The trafic was busy, and i was driving slow. When i was shifting down to thirt gear the engine stalled a couple of times when i used the clutch.
Normally when i start the cold XTX the throttle is more smooth than when the engine is at his normal temperature.

Recently i changed the stock exhaust with a Leovince X3 exhaust, can this be the reason?

I think the problem is the idlle speed. What do you guys think?

Almost certainly is. Crank it up to 1500rpm and all will be well again. :)

With the diag mode on the gauge i set the iddle rmp at 1550.

That solved the problem, thanks..

Nice one!

A good, fresh, correctly gapped spark plug works wonders in preventing involuntary stalling too. Change once a year (like oil) regardless of how little mileage you've done.
